I contacted customer service because one of the lamps I purchased was not working. I spent almost $5000 with them, and suffer from an injury while being operated on so I live in constant pain. When I called customer service I was told there was nothing they could do due to the fact it had been one month since they dropped it off and they did not know what I had done to the lamp to make it not work and it was not their fault. Even though I advised her of my condition. I had asked to speak to a manager and was immediately told one was not available. I asked her to go look for one cause she answered too quickly to really know if there was one available on the floor. She told me I was talking to her like a child and advised me she was hanging up on me. I called back and spoke with another rep who was happy to help me. I got a manger who called me back but she seemed really disinterested in my complaint of the rep who hung up on me. I managed several call centers. I know my stuff when it comes to them and the different types of reps.
I also purchased an entertainment center. A know was missing. It has been close to 3 months now and I am still waiting for them to ship me the knob. Funny how they can shove their rules down my throat but could care less to have a know shipped 3 months later and it be ok.
It was really poor customer service and I should never have shopped there. When I was in the store I was harrassed by a sales representative several times even though I already had one and she was writing up my order. I refused to give him the info as to who it was so he kept following me. He even made it a point after when he saw the rep to bring it to her attention as well. I made it a point to tell him how annoying he was and to get the hell out of my life or I would be cancelling my order. The manager was on the floor encouraging the behavior of the sales reps.
