| - Okay, this was our third stay at this usually perfect hotel, but this pass weekend was one disappointment after another, and all pool related. After a day long hot drive to get there, we were really looking forward to enjoying a cool swim in the fantastic pool, but after a short 15 minute dip, the pool was evacuated due to human wast contamination. Granted, we were able to enjoy the other side of the two-sided pool, but it was still a big disappointment, and surely not the fault of the hotel staff. The second day by the pool was worse, as we were all subjected to an afternoon of a live DJ out by the pool instead of being able to enjoy some peace, quiet, and relaxation. His ongoing birthday announcements, and endless loud disco music forced us to retreat to our quiet room until after 6:30 PM when the noise ended. The ironic part was on the POOL RULES board, it clearly states NO RADIOS, USE HEADPHONES for obvious reasons. Those of us of a certain age, would rather read or nap poolside, rather than be subjected to a loud party atmosphere. It was impossible to carry on a normal conversation over the loud music and cheering from the celebrants. Please stay classy Marriott, and no more live DJs!
