UPDATE: I'd like to change my review at this time. My husband called and spoke with the sales manager. He contacted me and advised that the truck should have had one, so they are ordering one asap. I'm thrilled! Thank you Airpark Dodge!
I bought a 2015 Toyota Tundra from Airpark Dodge 3 weeks ago. Today It was brought to my attention by my regular repair shop that my truck was missing the spare tire. He said that sometimes dealers will take it off to put on another vehicle and further said, "just give them a call, I'm sure they'll find you one."
I sent airpark an email and the below response is what I received back:
"Unfortunately not all of our vehicles come equipped with a spare. We can order you a spare here or you may be able to find one at a better price through a local tire store."
Really?? You buy a 2015 Toyota Tundra with 27,000 miles and a price tag of $31,000+ and you don't get a spare tire?? I find that to be appalling! Is that because you weren't able to talk me into anything extra?
My experience with buying a vehicle from them was pretty typical of car dealerships....high pressure and so forth, but for the most part I had no complaints until now!
The bottom line is this.....if you are buying a used vehicle, you'd be wise to make yourself a checklist and go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb before leaving the lot.
Shame on you Airpark Dodge! :(
