  • I was here a week ago and initially I was okay with my hair until I washed it. Then I noticed that the top layer is a good 1.5" shorter than the other side. So not thrilled about this as I feel for $80 (includes tip) I should have had a better experience. So here goes.... I arrived at 10:55 for an 11:00 appt. Sabio greets me and immediately let's me know that I am 20 minutes early and to wait. He does take a moment to check out my style photo and says that it's doable. In what world does 5 minutes early translate to being 20 minutes early? If YOU'RE running late OWN up to it. Do not blame me or make me feel like a douchebag who showed up way to early. So I wait until a very nice chick with blonde hair shampoos me. She's funny, she tries to set me at ease, which I appreciate. Finally I'm in the chair. He starts cutting and then is called over to do a consult, so he leaves. Then he comes back and cuts a bit more until he's asked to do another consult. So he leaves and then comes back and cuts a bit more until....YEP another consult, seriously! I find this to be beyond rude and unprofessional. This may be why the top layer of my hair is missing a chunk, lose your place much? Anyway he starts styling my hair without cutting my bangs as requested. I guess he was in a hurry as his next client was sitting next to me with a wet head, waiting. I mentioned the bangs and he said ok I'll cut them, but I decided to pass as it was 100% clear he was not focused on cutting my hair anymore. The hair do appeared to be satisfactory all styled up plus I was being rushed out so the next girl could get her hair done. At check out they push a little product on you, not as much as other places BUT during your cut they pressure you into setting your next appt. As far as the actual salon, in the past I had gotten my hair done at the Fashion Square location which seemed to be a lot cleaner, more open and brighter than this location. The walls were dingy, it felt crowded, the stylists stations needed some updating. Tabatha? Bottom line for an $80 cut/style I expect someones undivided attention and a precise cut. I did not receive that here. The search continues....
