There's no denying that the Yorkville Pusateri's is an institution. There's a good chance that you will find a finer quality of the groceries you are looking for at this market than anywhere else in the city.
My favourite feature of the store is the coffee shop. The tea selection is pretty decent (try the Japanese green tea with eucalyptus) and extends beyond what you see on the list (look behind the counter!).
What makes this great is the huge selection of pastries from some of Toronto's best patisseries in town. Be sure to try the pistachio cranberry biscotti; it's the best I've had in Toronto.
My only issue is that the place is sometimes unreasonably overpriced. For example they carry Kusmi tea but at almost $30/ 125g which is twice as much as what you would pay at a retail shop in the Upper East Side (I doubt the rent in Toronto is more).
