  • Went there on New Years Eve (NO COVER CHARGE, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT) and was entertained by an awesome trio band which played cover songs (sorry I forgot the name of the group). They supplied us with new years hats, light wands and free champagne at midnight. We celebrated until 9:00 p.m. (or a few minutes before) when they pulled down the big screen and we brought the new year in along with NYC. Wow, we got home not too long after that, what a super super fun night that was. You can dance. order drinks (or not, no pressure here, but you should). We had gone to this place before to see a band which played motown hits and the cover was only $5.00. Great off the strip place, good places to eat inside (mexican, italian, steakhouse, buffet, burger king and I'm sure there are more). The hotel rooms are relatively inexpensive (never stayed there but looked up prices for a friend). The people are awesome. The bar serves $1.00 margaritas to locals (at the bar in the casino only, not in the Railhead bar) but I am sure anyone can get them if you ask. One of the best "off the strip" places around.
