rev:text	I live at Remington place. I've been at Remington for almost 2 years. I like the playground a lot at desert homes and I take my kids there. when the playground got fixed, we all got a paper saying to go to desert homes and enjoy the playground. so I jumped on the chance. I took plenty of pics. I might post the pics. I was told not to post the pics from a psycho neighbor. she said that if I post the pics then I am exposing my kids to the public. funny, my facebook page is public so I've already exposed them. what is her problem? don't ask. I said she's psycho. you can ask management about jane and her twin sis. they'll say the same thing. onto desert homes- they have friendly maintenance guys who say " hi" to you. I have 2 new guys at Remington place who says hi and lets see how long they last because my complex hasn't been able to keep maintenance for who knows how long. they have robert and marlon who are great. bill and chris- not so much. that's another discussion. bill is getting nicer but chris, not so much. the maintenance at desert homes will go out of their way to ask how is your day. I don't know how they treat tenants when they're inside people's apartments but I can say when you're walking through, that is when they're nice as pie to you. their pool looks better than Remington place's. an old neighbor of mine named annett used to live there. she moved into Remington place because desert homes management said that they needed to fix her apartment and they had an avail one at Remington for her. she lived at my complex for a year. she lived at desert homes for over 2 years. she loved being at desert homes. now my issue with this place is that whenever you're walking through from this open area between the 2 complexes, you'll see a mess. oh don't worry Remington sometimes is just as bad as desert homes. but the middle of the complex is where the most trash is at. either it falls out from people garbage diver dumping or from the garbage trucks or from careless tenants. its gross. my complex is worse. their is trash dumped by my apartment from who knows what neighbor. someone lazy as heck. in the middle of the complex, there is always water from a broken pipe that they seem to not be able to fix correctly. the grass is like quicksand. that reminds me of one of my other apartment complexes which is expensive and fancy that has that same quicksand issue. I don't know if desert homes still has that issue but from reading the reviews, one girl said that it still does. but I do like the pool and the playground and the friendly maintenance. the managers seem nice too. my new managers seem nice as well. I haven't seen my manager tonya in awhile and linda knows me by name and voice. geesh. that's for another story one day. the shooting story that you read from an old security guard is still true. there is constant shooting from the complex nearby called bellridge. that place is expensive for crap. I lived in better looking complexes and mine was cheaper than bellridge,
