| - First stay at the Cosmo was nice, but I came with high expectations and was mildly letdown. Even though the hotel is fairly new, the majority of the "hotel spaces" seemed a bit neglected. The Carpet in the hallways was pretty dirty, and the wallpaper scraped up. The room was modern, but too dark and lighting was definitely desired.
The elevator situation is also quite frustrating, having to share elevators with people going to and from the conference levels, meant long waits and numerous stops each time we used the elevator.
I like the location, and the common areas of the casino are very nice, it's just obvious they spend their time and money keeping those areas up much better than the actual hotel.
Housekeeping staff and front desk were very friendly and helpful (and extra star for that)
Billing and checkout was easy and honest, that's another star for that. Past that the hotel part just does not feel like 5 stars. I think it's a great hotel to visit, especially the nightclub, but staying there just wasn't my taste.
