Completely unreliable...
Service lines are outdated and falling apart, but they're only willing to fix them when there is a total outage. What does this mean? It means unreliable service. I have a smart hub in my home that tracts the internet connectivity, and relies on it. Therefore, I can see that my internet drops several times a day. I started looking at this when my home systems started having problems responding. When I call customer service, the response is simple, "it's working now." They're never willing make the service reliable, even when confronted with the evidence. Total outages this month is about once a week, this is unacceptable.
If you have the opportunity to chose your internet provider, DON'T chose Cox. If you're looking to add smart capabilities to your home, DON'T chose Cox. If you need reliable internet service to work from home on occasion, DON'T use Cox.
