  • We went on a Saturday morning at 10am. If you have multiple kids, you NEED to bring someone to help. You will lose track of them. It is crowded and in some areas DARK. So keep an eye on your little ones. It is well laid out and fairly clean... It has lots of fish, rays, sharks and jellyfish -- no dolphin/whale show (hooray! Finally someone watched Blackfish!). I was impressed. The moving walkway made the steep ticket price worth it ($79 for two adults and a 4yr old and 2yr old)! You're in a 360 tunnel with saw sharks, nurse sharks and turtles swimming over you! So awesome! It all funnels into a hands-on play area with a crawl through shark tunnel, touch tank, playground, cafe and yellow submarine. This is where you have to look out -- big kids are zipping by at full speed and will easily bowl your baby/toddler/preschooler over without a second thought. Then just when you think you've had enough of the aquarium, you find out you're only half way done the aquarium!!! So another 20 minutes of walking (or in our case, trying to escape with hungry/tired/pissy kids without stopping to see what we were missing) only to be forced to exit through the gift shop... Which creates another scene for another epic meltdown for everyone in the party.... Yikes. Well done, Ripley's, well done.
