Just say no.
First off, they don't warn you about the roaring trains that come at all times, day and night. You hear every horn and as it passes by on the tracks. Not to mention we lived on the 4th floor and can hear people talking on the streets. Imagine what a train 50 feet away sounds like.
Secondly, they are so nice and really know how to sell you on the place. Then you move in and they are rude and unhelpful. Pretty much they don't really care about you, just your money. We had the ceiling leak for several months, and they supposedly had someone fix it, but a couple weeks afterwards it was leaking again. No compensation whatsoever for the inconvenience, they just gave us garbage cans to put around the apartment where the leaks were....really??
To top it off, one of our vehicles was a motorcycle that we had parked legally for one night with a parking pass was vandalized. Some IDIOT tried to move it into the GRAVEL side walk and DROPPED the motorcycle and broke the mirror and scratched up the whole side of the motorcycle costing thousands of dollars in damages. The apartment complex was NO HELP AT ALL once again. The "cameras" they had in the parking lot were "not working for some reason". So we never found out who the imbecile who was stupid enough to touch and move someone else's property.
Again, just say no and find a nicer apartment elsewhere that's not in a sketchy area with shady management.
