  • This was my experience this past Sunday - The guy who did my pedicure obviously had no clue what he was doing as he seemed to be watching the guy next to him doing my daughter's pedi and sort of following suit. He was hurting me and I told him so. Both of the guys doing our pedis were treating us like we had no feeling in our feet - bending our feet and toes like a Gumby. We were both cut by their tools - my guy barely used the scraper thing for callouses - he basically just touched my feet with it - I had a sugar scrub and he barely put that on me - I got no massage and he barely put lotion on my legs, then there was the EXTREMELY HOT rock "massage" - I had to tell him 4 times that the rocks were way too hot for my legs. I think that's when he got annoyed with me. He left nail polish on part of the skin on my big toe and then the other guy came over to me - as soon as my guy was done - and asked for my credit card. I told him no - I'll pay when my toes are dry, and he reached out with his hand and said "pay now" and I said "I WILL PAY WHEN MY TOES ARE DRY." They pushed a trashcan between my chair and the one next to me and my shoes were in there - they didn't bother to get my shoes out of there and I couldn't get them - my daughter had to get them for me and SHE put my shoes on. I got up and paid - NO TIP. Also, and I hesitate to put this in here, but I think it really all adds in to the bad experience, an African American woman came in for a pedi and they set her up away from us at the back of the store. A white woman came in and they set her up at the front of the store, next to us, and offered her water. We were not offered water, and neither was the woman at the back of the store. The service, at best, is inconsistent. A pedicure is a special treat for most of us and IT SHOULDN'T HURT AND WE SHOULDN'T BE HASSLED FOR PAYMENT BEFORE WE ARE EVEN OUT OF THE CHAIR. DO NOT RECOMMEND - STAY FAR AWAY. Please keep in mind, we were not rude to the people providing our service at all - they seemed to be annoyed with us the moment they started our pedis. I should not have even paid for the service, but since the communication was difficult with them, I chose to pay, no tip and write this review.
