| - I've been a regular for over a year. All I want is something very simple and easy: a clean, close trim of my cuticles and skin, using razor on my heels, sole and toes. I'm willing to forego the nail polish, massage and hot towel treatment. No lotion either (it's poor quality anyway). I trim my own nails to the length I want. I don't want the massage chair on. I don't want a magazine. Plain and simple.
Ivy is the owner and so far, she is the only one who can do the job the way that I like it. But the problem is that she doesn't like me. She is cold, bordering on rude and even has a "nickname" of me and she derides me to her staff in her native language. That's all fine with me. I really just care about her doing a good job, so I pretend I don't mind.
Every time she sticks me on someone else, I am disappointed as they always do a poor job. Then I have to go get the job done again elsewhere the next week.
I've found a few other talented girls who do a good job, but they are downtown. When I get a chance, I go to them. But Ivy Nails is in my neighbourhood and I would prefer to go there.
Come on, Ivy. How about a better attitude? It's half the work for the full $20.
What a shame.
