a recent cash back reward popped up on my bank's program to use at kmart.. excitedly, I said I will take that deal.... after all I dont enjoy going to walmart and the 10% is enough to sway me from going to Target for a bit...
we arrive... I am thinking... ok.... this is kmart... they are the titanic sinking ship of sears and kmart combined... they have to be making efforts to save their brand! yeah... um no.... They are not doing that.
I walk in, the store is a chaotic mess. There is no fluency to anything... employees are unwelcoming and appear to be annoyed. (not to mention it closes at 8pm)
we make our way back to the electronics section, because I am after a great deal on a television... and that 10% cash back would be nice! as we walk into the zone.... the store employee TURNS OFF ALL THE TV'S with 25 minutes to go until the store closed... Look, ive worked retail... so I get it. You want to get the heck out of there. however, it took 1 second to shut all the TV's off. - my recommendation, turn them off at 7:59:59. just crazy
we decide to make our way over to the laundry detergent section.... because we need some. the current deal at smiths up the road was 2.99 for a 33 load bottle of All fragrance free. the current deal at KMart - $7.99 for the same.... ok ummmm NO. not happening.. i mean even when it is off sale at smiths, its 4.99 for the container.
make our way to the exit of the store while examining end caps without prices... I mean cmon... this store is so poorly ran that it is no wonder their part of this sinking company. bad management - bad employees - bad sales. Good riddance.
