Booked a car for 3 days from Friday, May 11, 2018 until Monday, May 14, 2018. Requested a pick up from 2 blocks away at Yonge and Steeles Ave. at 4:10 PM and was told they'll send someone in less than 10 minutes. 20 minutes passed and no sign of any car to pick me up. Called the branch again and was put on hold for 5 minutes, JOE came on line and asked if I wanted to book a car!
I said no and explained the story above. JOE apologized, said it is Friday and they are busy. It was obvious that he was absolutely unconcerned and said he will send someone right away. I waited for another 10 minutes and still no car showed up. I gave up, got a cab and on the way back home I received a call at 4:55 PM from the branch. I did not answer. (4:10 PM until 4:55 and just couple of blocks away from the branch and yet they didn't/couldn't send a car to pick me up!)
This branch is notorious when it comes to picking up customers. I've had numerous bad experiences (and only a few positive ones) in the last several years but commented only once in the past.
I think I've had enough dealing with this branch. Perhaps it's time to rent cars from other companies.
Who will compensate me for my time, the money spent for the ride back home in a cab and ruined plans for the weekend? JOE?!
