| - Ive been eating at Island Flavor since they first opened when there was a bar in the center. So, Ive seen it go under many changes. I understand that a restaurant must raise prices over time to compete with rising food costs and Ive gladly paid for it. However, it is terrible when a restaurant reduces the amount of food given AND charges more. Plate lunch food has always been about value and taste. I can no longer justify eating at Island Flavor if I have to pay $15 for a plate lunch, which, to me, is no longer a value. It was a surprise when I looked at my recent bill and saw upcharges that were not there under the previous ownership. For less food and $15, I'll save my money and eat elsewhere, especially, if I walk away after a meal feeling like I didnt get my money's worth. BTW, I take pics of most of my meals at restaurants and the difference is drastic. As a business person, I wish all the best to the new owners but as a patron, Ill be eating elsewhere.
