I have been a fan of the Peppermill since I was introduced in 1997. My Grandpa (RIP Wilbur) loved the place; he made it a point to stay at the Stardust or Riviera just so he was in immediate walking distance.
The ambiance is great. Classic neon lights and huge fake, tropical trees. The lounge area is super retro, complete with a fireplace. I feel Sinatra-esque when I'm in there sipping on a mule talking at a dame.
Food is quality fare. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary, but you get a lotta grub, no matter what you order.
This is also one of the last remaining landmarks on the strip. Hope they never tear you down, Peppermill. I love you.
