Mucho Burrito is very, very good. And this from someone who lived in California for a decade and ate Mexican food at least twice a week while there.
For those familiar with the popular Chipotle chain, this is effectively a copy designed to serve the Canadian market, and is nearly identical in concept and in menu. That said, I think Mucho Burrito is actually superior in at least the following ways:
- It offers the option of whole wheat tortillas
- It offers fish in addition to the standard beef, chicken, and pork
- The chicken is white meat (Chipotle uses a mix of white and dark)
- It offers the option of grilled onions and peppers instead of beans (Chipotle may have this; I don't remember).
The reason I'm giving it four instead of five stars is that something was subtly lacking flavor-wise in the fish burrito I had. I'll post a follow-up after I try something else...
