| - BROKEN SEAL!!
Honestly I don't even know where to begin, let alone write a not so pleasant review for this particular location and employee (Abigail AKA Abby)
On March 15, 2017 I called to ask if they had a certain product in stock (AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow #119) they said yes and put one on hold for me, at 8:22:01 pm I walked into the Inglot store to pick up my item. My first impression of the only two employees working there, including Abby was great they were friendly and welcoming. I let them know I was there for a pick up for Jasmine (me) and she then proceeded to grab the product, open the box flap then closed it. Then she said "oh just to make sure it's the right number" she opened the box once again and ONLY showed me the sticker number on the bottom of the eyeshadow container. She rang me up and I was a happy customer because I finally got the product I wanted that Macy's had out of stock. The next day, the day of the event I specifically needed this product for, I went ahead to grab my item out of the Inglot bag, I opened the box and to my surprise once thoroughly looking at the product the safety seal was BROKEN!! absolutely not okay and unsanitary and ANY makeup brand and customer knows this. There was also minor loose Pigment covered on the inside of the box and the container its self.
Since I was an unhappy first time buyer for Inglot I called the location back to inform them of my situation/product. A friendly man answered, I explained the problem and provided me with a solution. He took down my name and number and told me he would pass it down to the Manger once she arrived to the location and she'll give me a call back. I said thank you and apologize if I came off harsh to him as I knew he wasn't to blame. No less then 20 minutes later I get a call back from the Inglot location, I answered assuming it was the Manger but to my surprise it was Abigail (Abby) and oh no she didn't call to provide me with a solution. Nope, she called to remind me that she in fact showed me the item. She took matters into her own hands and said there is NO WAY POSSIBLE the product was opened because she check the product before I got there and even during checkout. Honestly I was so pissed that she called to flat out call me a liar and insured me she wasn't at fault. I don't know how I kept my cool with this so-called Assistant Manger Abby who just called me to confirm she has her story straight. Her actions and how she spoke to me was BEYOND uncalled for, so I drove 35mins to this location to get my money back or an exchange. Once I walked in there with my mom, we asked to speak to the manager and wouldn't you know it there she was in the flesh. I then explained to her the situation and how me and my mother did NOT appreciate little miss Abby calling me to just say I was a liar about the broken seal. The manager went to check the cameras and came back out shortly to say that Abby did show me the product. Not once did I deny that she showed me the item BUT Abby never showed me the SAFETY SEAL which as a first time buyer I had no idea, as the manager told me its policy they showed me the safety seal upon purchasing the product. The manager eventually offered to do an exchange for a new product this time, I agree and was satisfied UNTIL the manager said "Im going to write on the receipt you got an exchange so now you can return it so any other location for a refund." In my head I looked at her and thought what the f**k is that supposed to mean?!
Overall this location is crap and miss Abigail need more training on how to be a BETTER assistant manger and friendly customer service. First and last time I'll be purchasing from Inglot.
BEWARE OF ABIGAIL AND MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE SAFETY SEALS FOR YOURSELF BEFORE WALKING OUT FROM THIS LOCATION.
