Ordered a plate of meatballs--amazing. Ordered clams-pretty good. Ordered 2 pizzas a margherita & a New Yorker. Both were a soggy mess. The toppings literally fell off the pizza when you picked it up. It was complete mush. When we complained the waitress was combative and defensive saying that's how the pizza is meant to be. Regardless, it's awful. And when you order two different pizzas and your waitstaff seems to know they're both soggy, they should have the courtesy to tell you. We asked to speak to the manager...35 minutes it took him to come over. The waitress kept asking "has he been here yet? He said he was coming right over". That pissed me off the most. The fact that we were already very unhappy and that it took him 35 minutes to address our situation. And that he was also argumentative & wanted to give us a rundown of each pizza they serve...little too late for that. So that completely cancelled out the delicious meatballs. The experience was awful. And we are locals. We have dined at the downtown location and the pizza was top notch. My advice would be to make sure the servers are explaining the many different pizzas on the menu. And if a table orders multiple pizzas that are all soggy and wet with loads of sauce, give them a heads up. Can't imagine returning. We probably would be more willing if it wasn't for the combativeness of the personnel. We'll stick to Metro, Grimaldi's & Settebello for now on.
