We visited Brickhouse twice while in Madison on 7/11/14 and the following night. The first day was late afternoon before the dinner rush so it was obviously a slow time. Excellent meals both visits and sampled a variety of items. Fantastic BBQ and I especially recommend the ribs. Top notch beer selection also for the craft beer lovers out there. Tons of food and you won't leave hungry that's for sure.
One note about our second visit on Saturday night about 8:30. We were in town for a high school world archery tournament and had a party of close to 30. We originally wanted to hook-up at a different restaurant downtown but our first choice was a smaller place with limited seating, and we were looking at obviously a very long wait. Because of our great experience the previous day, I placed a call to Brickhouse and explained the situation with our large group. Expecting perhaps to be laughed at or a sarcastic comment about seating such a large group during a prime time, I was surprised how accommodating the staff was, especially when I explained that in no way were we looking to have everyone sit together. They could break us up as necessary, whatever worked best for seating on their end. The person on the phone (can't remember her name) said no problem come on over.
We walked over and they ended up re-arranging tables on the 2nd floor to seat about 20 and the rest were split into two tables. The point is, many places would make the customer realize what a pain the butt it is to make these type of accommodations, but the staff at Firehouse went above & beyond. Thanks for making the visit so enjoyable both times, and I'll be sure to stop back the next time we're in town.
