| - This place was the highlight of my short visit to Cleveland, OH.
We(my friends and I) found out about this place from a waitress at NoodleCat who was telling us that this is the place they get their produce from. We were like O_O, tell us more about this market, where is it?!?!?
We went the next day early, about 10am. It was a short car ride from our hotel. We first went to the produce area. Fruits and veggies...ok, I can get this stuff at home. I thought that is what the WSM was, a big fruit and veggies stand. We left and walked through another door.....I was wowed. The place was huge with many different vendors in stands/stalls selling various items, mostly meat, bread, and baked goods.
I had gotten my breakfast from this falafel place, I read the name of the place, and thought I would've remembered it. I guess not, but I think it was the only falafel place there and it was off into this little room area. Anywhoo, it was really good. There was a lady standing by the entrance with samples of the falafel chick-pea-ball-thingy...(uh...yea, what do you call those things???) My friend's really enjoyed those and bought a dozen balls for I forgot how much $$....my falafel came out to less than 5 bucks...
We wanted to come back on Sunday to get some stuff to bring home, but we found out from the sampling-falafel lady that they were closed on Sundays....Ohnoes!!!! So we went back later that day (Saturday and bought bags of popcorn from Campbell's Popcorn shop. I also bought me a reusable shopping bag as a souvenir...LOL
