| - I live very close by, checked the menu online - seemed intriguing along with the beer selection. Went on Saturday night about 545pm...arrived at the Casual Pint, and it isn't clear if you go to the bar for drinks or wait for a server. After looking around, seemed a couple of servers were helping certain tables..so we took seats at a community table to wait for service. 30 min, no service, no hello, no acknowledgement of any kind. I saw several tables get attentive service, and some get slow service, and myself (get nothing). We had to go get beers from the bar, even that was a slow process...we wanted to order food...didnt know how or who to order from...after an hour, and one beer later, without one word from any employee (including owners), left to have dinner somewhere else...sad, they had beers I wanted to try and food I wanted to sample as well...I really understand being a new business and working out kinks...kinks don't include poor service and confused customers...Charlotte had a great beer scene, and many places with great service and products...places that make you work to invest your dollars will get run over in the beer business..bottom line is the Causal Pint is a place to go if youre not familiar with brew pubs.
