A true neighborhood place to dine. It's in Stripmall. No reservations cept for parties of 6 or more. I went traditional. I enjoyed the homemade Buffalo Mozzarella which came with arugula, pesto and Prosciutto and Balsamic. It comes with french bread and the waitress brought garlic bread as a free upgrade. The dish was absolutely fresh and delicious.
I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese for main course. The homemade pasta was toothsome and perfectly cooked and the flavors of the sauce was so amazing. Our server could not have been more pleasant and we were NOT rushed at all even though it is such a small restaurant and many people waiting.
Only knock and it's not that big a deal, but the wine list could be improved. I had craft beer with my meal and was very satisfied.
As an aside, I kept noticing people taking 5 gal. water bottles next door and leaving with the water and ice cream cones?? Turns out there is a business next door that provides reverse osmosis water, AND services Thrifty ice cream. Yummm.
I was in town for Cubs spring training. If I come back next year I will absolutely visit Giuseppe's again!
