| - Purchased a Rav4 Labor Day weekend. No haggling, just a few questions, car had a couple of minor scratches, but we were assured they would be taken care of, so we buy the car. Process was ok, but took a bit long even though we have slam dunk credit with ~35% down. Had to correct several errors made by credit guy (wife's name, address, etc.) before he rushed us out (supposedly to help other customers, but then we saw him just hanging about). Lots of waiting, then car is ready but scratches not fixed. Sales guy told a nice story, including how he'd fill the car when we came back...so we schedule for Tuesday after the holiday (forcing us to stay in the area a day longer than planned). Took car in first thing in the morning Tuesday, got a call @10:30 saying it's done, we remind them to fill with gas, but are told that needed sales person approval and he's not available. Pick up car, one of the scratches is still not fixed. Have discussion with customer service manager, who offers a $25 gas card (which she then failed to provide). Finally as a final masterstroke, they mail license plates to the wrong address, leaving us with a car not legal to drive for over a week. Basically a fail from start to finish. Can't imagine trusting any sort of service work to them and certainly would never buy another car from them. Lots of talk, but very short on positive action.
