| - I really want to give this place 4 stars, but if I'm going to be an accurate reviewer, I have to give it 3. The good news is, my mom would be able to give it a 4! The man at the counter greeting us said all the right things, though didn't really seem that welcoming or genuine, but everyone else was really friendly. It is also really pretty décor inside, with pleasant and relaxing music. I do have to agree with others who mentioned that the massage cushions in the chairs were nothing very exciting. Also as others said, it's a big space, so can handle lots of people, for both manicures and pedicures. We were walk-ins on a Tuesday early afternoon and were able to be seated together, with just a 5-10 minute wait for pedicures.
When we were half way through the pedicure, they asked us which one we wanted, and encouraged us to upgrade from the $32 pedicure to the $40 pedicure, which included a massage. We are not ones to take the time to treat ourselves to pedicures very often, so we did the upgrade. It was pretty good, but I was a little distracted. The guy who was doing my nails was really friendly, but I have tough skin around my nails, as well as tough nails, and somehow in his effort to be thorough, I got a cut, and it kind of hurt. He was very apologetic, and took good care of it. He also declined any tip b/c he said he felt bad. My nails did look good at the end of it all, and my mom's nails looked really great (partially b/c she went for a color outside of her norm, nice job, mom!).
Overall, I would good back to give it another try, as I enjoyed the setting and the people beyond the door.
