| - Finally feel safe enough to write a review of this place now that I have moved out. They say you can't polish a turd but that is exactly what this place does. It looks all majestic. And hey, if you're a coed and your mom and dad are paying for you to live here and party until you barf in the pool, well lucky you. My friends moved out and I got out as fast as I could. The only pros to this place are the location on the walking path/golf course and Old Town, which are great. But how much time can you spend walking on the path? Eventually you have to go home. Home to LOTS of bad pet owners who do not pick up after their large and multiple dogs. Many of them look like pit bulls, like the one that went after me. The pool looks great when you come Sunday morning for your tour. Try showing up Friday or Saturday night when every college student invites everyone they know to come smoke and drink around the pool. The pool, by the way is only three feet deep. Like a baby pool. Looks good before you get in. The walls in apartments are thin as paper. You will hear your neighbors cough, roll over in bed, you will hear the fights escalate before the cops come. And they come A LOT. Dogs barking day and night. Stray cats wandering all over and lounging on balconies like Phoenix Zoo. Cockroaches the size of cocker spaniels. When you complain, they will tell you that living by the greenbelt comes with roaches. What a crock. One morning, after the exterminator came, I saw several dying roaches trying to survive by crawling up my stairs, coughing and hacking up hairballs (okay that was a bit fictitious). But they were choking on poison and heading for higher ground, which was my apartment. One parking spot, two roommates. Problem. And weekends all the partiers have their friends stay over and there is NO parking, people start to double up. Two of my neighbors left before their leases were up, they just couldn't take it. They sacrificed their security and paid a huge early termination penalty of some sort. Some people are lucky enough to be able to afford to bail. They were quite vocal about it. I waited it out. Watch out for those extended leases for less rent. You will just get trapped longer. If you live by the pool, you will be up most of the time. If you live by the park, get ready for drunks walking by all night from Pranksters. I am free now. I moved away and the trauma is starting to fade. Don't say I didn't warn you.
