  • Wow, we went as a party of 6 today. The food was good but the service ruined our experience. I have no idea how they have 4 stars! The waitress was not helpful, nice or attentive to our needs. I understand you already know that you're getting an 18% auto gratuity but it does not create cause for bad service. We like to eat a lot and it means 3 or 4 rounds of ordering. We had to keep flagging the servers to put in additional orders. She didn't ask how we wanted to split the bill or provide eye contact as we were hoping to get another dessert round since it wasn't limited. The meal was $28 each for AYCE which some items were included and others not. I really liked the nigiri and sashimi as well as the other dishes but it's not enough in a service based city. We will not be coming back to Sushi Wa or recommending it to anyone. The location had a trendy look and feel when you walk in. Music was loud playing with hip hop music, it was a low lighting environment and the part that bothered someone in our party was that we were told to put the menus on the floor for more table space which means dirty menus in our hands.
