  • Pros: Excellent Customer Service, Location, WiFi, Clean, the front desk people double as baristas! Cons: Expensive parking (although pretty standard around this area), no room service, gym, spa (but typical for a boutique hotel). My review for Le Petite Hotel is long overdue. My husband and I stayed at Le Petite Hotel in Montreal for part of our honeymoon in April 2016. This was actually our first time staying at a boutique hotel. We frequent at many large 4/5 star hotels and an Air B&B every once in a while. While we have had many pleasant stays at various locations Le Petite Hotel has surpassed them all. Staff: Because this is small boutique hotel they don't really have a "bell man" but the front desk person came right out as soon as our car pulled up to help with unloading our bags. All the staff had genuinely smiley faces, and all our interactions with them were extremely pleasant throughout our stay. The whole staff were very familiar with the area. We basically toured all of Montreal based on their recommendations alone. Depending on our mood and style they were able to point us in the right direction for bars, restaurants ad attractions. I want to add also that they took the initiative to ask us if we needed any help. Everyone was eager to help and made sure we were taken care of in every aspect. Also offering tips on directions, etc. Extremely helpful for us 2 Americans visiting Montreal for the first time. I really can't rave enough about how well we were treated, comparable to The Palace in SF. The staff really made us feel as special and showed us hospitality! Breakfast: Like I mentioned above there is no room service BUT there is a small breakfast available every day. Bagels, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, toast, fresh croissants, coffee, tea, fruit, etc. I don't remember there being anything hot besides the oatmeal but everything was well chosen and tasty. Ambiance: I would describe this place as very trendy, the whole front check-in area doubles as a coffee shop (not complaining). The room we stayed in was small but so quaint, think bricks and contemporary style. All in all, our stay at Le Petit Hotel was delightful. It was everything we could hope for in a boutique hotel, comfortable, hospitable, with endless amounts of coffee. We will be staying here again on our next visit.
