| - Woke up this morning and found myself badly in need of some sugary, fluffy, chocolaty, oh so bad for me doughnuts. Went online and did a search for doughnut shops near me and the Fractured Prune came up with almost 5 stars. Fractured prune?? Who wants to eat a broken prune, I thought.. Anywho, I of course had to go see what this was all about. Popped the address in google and off I went. I arrived in a little shopping center with a few places I wouldn't mind trying, Chronic Tacos ...hmm do they put weed in their tacos I wonder, kind of a sneaky way to get you to eat more and more tacos ...you know .... Cuz of munchies ........ ok bad joke, moving on.. Sweet tomatoes looked good too and I could get a massage at Massage Envy after my food binge. Sorry, got side tracked, ok so pulled up to this cool little shop, reminded me of something you would find in Berkley or San Francisco California. Inside were these two awesome girls who were very knowledgeable about the many different choices for your doughnut. Basically it's a make you own. They have a gazillion different toppings and glazes to choose from. You basically fill out an order form of what you want and they make it right there in front of you. I got a chocolate glaze which comes with chocolate chips, it was hot and fresh so the chips melted and it was a glorious sensation in my mouth. Horns blew, angels sang sweet songs of joy and happiness and all became right with the world. I immediately ran outside and sang at the top of my longs we are the world!!!! ... ok that didn't happen but I wanted to ...Ok... I tend to get carried away when I like something sorry haha.. Very cool place and cool people working there. My only suggestion is to have a few doughnuts already made and cut into small pieces for customers to try. They had a blue berry glaze that I wanted to try but was afraid I wouldn't like it so I stuck to what I knew I liked, which I'm sure many people do.. You got a few samples customers can try it would make the decision making a little easier and would get people to get out of their comfort zone. Great place, def go check it out.
