| - In a nutshell, it's worth riding...ONCE.
The ferris wheel is constantly moving, so you have to step on to the platform as the pod approaches. Once you're inside, the pod is fairly large. It's larger than a walk-in closet, but smaller than a small bedroom (about 200 sq. ft. I think?) At first, I had to adjust to being on a ferris wheel. But it goes so slowly, that you don't know even feel like it's really moving.
The view was good, although most of it is the rooftops of casinos. But for a 360 degree view, it was pretty nice. The novelty wore off after awhile. You can only do so much while you're in the air. It's good for a large party because you can keep entertained, but for pairs and small groups, it might be a little boring after a while.
The ride went by pretty quickly too. I don't know that I'd ride it again if I have to pay for the $25 (daytime price) again, but it was definitely something you would want to do once while visiting Vegas. For a Vegas local like me, it might not be as exciting. Maybe next time I'll try the night time ride.
