  • The lady who cleaned my shoes took a $10 bill from me, put it in her pocket and simply assumed I was tipping her 100% she then looked away and jumped on her phone as if to say, "Our business here is done" I decided to walk away and let her have the $5 100% tip. The more I thought about it however the more angry I got and taken advantage of I felt. I was happily going to tip her $2 when she gave me my change. I went back and asked her for my change and why she didn't give it me in the first place. The first words she said were "I work for tip" I then knew she had in fact tried to fleece me and simply take her tip without giving me the opportunity to tip her. I was still going to give her the $2 tip but she handed me a $5 dollar bill. I said give me $3 and let's call it straight. She then got pissed and said "just take your money" she was obviously upset at not getting her 100% tip. I know some will say it's only $3 more but it's the principle folks. I also need the $3 for tolls on my drive one I landed and $3 is the exact and only amount I had. I will add that the actual shine was great but the lack of change offered or given and then to simple walk away is not ok.
