| - This is definently a case against judging a book by it's cover. Wonton Gourmet could be mistaken as an ordinary Chinese restaurant in a strip mall, but it is so much more. The second you step through the door the tantalizing smell of authentic Chinese food will hit you. Once seated there is hot green tea waiting for you at the table. Across the walls are pictures of every item on the menu, luckily we were eating with regulars who knew all the best dishes. We had hot and spicy fish, salt bake pork chops, chili chicken, cumin lamb, shrimp wonton soup, and a type of cabbage with a taste similar to bok choy. Everything was delicious, but the cumin lamb, and the hot and spicy fish were especially superb. Both dishes were prepared with finesse and the deep spicy flavor in each one was perfectly balanced with the other flavors. The fish was so tender it melted in my mouth, and the lamb was executed with perfection. This is the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life, you will be missing out without taking a trip to Wonton Gourmet.
