  • I dropped in for eyebrow waxing. Was very pleased that this was an actual Aveda Salon and was expecting an awesome experience. I was wrong. One they do their waxing at the shampoo bowl. I was also expecting a little plucking and trimming and perhaps a cooling gel. Nope, just wax and brush. They charge $20 and an expected tip. At The Studio Hue (Aveda products used here) where I normally go across from Smiths on Rainbow-you are very comfortable laying on a bed. Cost is only $15 and they spend what feels like eternity making sure your brows are manicured.
