  • Friendly atmosphere, eclectic decorations, and yummy food. We had the beef empanadas, tostones, and the mofongo. The empanadas were delightful especially with the green sauce served with them. Tostones had me wanting to order more just for the drive home. The mofongo was a bit on the dry side but the garlic dipping sauce certainly provided another depth of taste. Good portions. Had mofongo to take home, which I won't do again. Does not reheat well. But, overall, Mambo's gets five stars for me in terms of being a bit different from the usual AZ fair, the super nice gentleman who greeted us and equally kind wait staff.
