  • If the service here had been as good as the food, I would be giving them five stars and would definitely go back. Everything we ate was fantastic. My husband and I ordered the calamari appetizer which was crispy and delicious. Our table mates had the alligator and it was so yummy and unique! Our cocktails were all delicious as well. Between the four of us, we ended up ordering two plates of étouffée and two plates of paella. We all devoured them. Everything was perfectly spiced and seasoned. Unfortunately, we had to sit almost ten minutes before we were even greeted, received our cocktails waaaayyyy after our appetizers arrived, and waited a long time for everything. We were one of only four seated tables so it's not like they were overwhelmed. I may go back, if it's someone else's idea, but there's a LOT of restaurants who do better that are closer to my house. Oh, and management? If you're reading this, do something about your music selection. The 50's pop hits would be cute if you were a burger shack, but if you're portraying New Orleans, how about some bluesy jazz instead?
