  • If there was a 4.5 star option, I'd pick that one. Cons first: smaller space, longer wait. That's it. Pros: WASABI TUNA ROLL. AND spicy tuna roll. And tiger roll. and... (you get it). This place has some awesome sushi. I should know by now to not judge a book by its cover, but I was NOT excited when we pulled up to join some friends for dinner. There were four of us and we ended up completely destroying 7 rolls of sushi. I would have gladly had just one, but our friends couldn't make a decision between some of their favorites, and then we happened to score a free roll because of a birthday in the group (a banana concoction of some sort that I keep thinking about, days later- super creative and delicious). No rolls left. Every morsel of rice gone. I also appreciated the presentation aspect of this place. The sushi looked incredible- like something you'd find at a much more expensive and upscale restaurant. They also use these large bamboo boats to serve the larger orders on. Apparently that's a "thing", but I've never seen or heard of it. Nice touch. New favorite sushi in Charlotte. No contest.
