  • I absolutely love this school. I was looking for something better than my neighborhood school and this place fit the bill. High academic expectations, but well balanced where children are able to handle the homework load and still have time to be involved in sports and church activities. There is a strong parent base of volunteers and you feel like you belong to a family when you get involved. The teachers are amazing as I have had two kids get through K-8 so far, and have experienced many of them at all grade levels. Both of my kids went into high school taking honors classes. The administration is also top notch. Their open door policy shows me that myself and my child are valued and important. I highly recommend this place over any other traditional charter in the area. Adams isn't as established and the school is going through administration changes. Basis will kill your child's love for learning with way too much homework and no life outside of school. Go visit Valley, take a tour, ask questions, visit a classroom...you will be impressed.
