  • UPDATE: it's been a little while since I made my first visit here and nothing has changed...place is dirty, I won't be eating here again. After reading the review on BlogTO and knowing that there aren't many breakfast/brunch spots in the area I figured I would give this place a try...I walked in on a Sunday morning and was greeted with an unpleasant smell. I can't really pinpoint it, it was just unpleasant. The restaurant is small and cosy. It's well decorated and there is a large window up front that lets in a great deal of natural light. A girl was at the back of the kitchen and told me she would be with me in a moment. As I looked around the kitchen area I saw that the cooking areas appeared clean, but were actually quite dirty. The floor looks like it hasn't been washed in a little while, the appliances weren't the cleanest either. At this point I realized that odor was likely coming from the kitchen. I ordered a tea (English breakfast) sat on the patio, had my tea and left. I will return in a month or two to see if things improve.
