| - They get one star because I previously got my scion xB serviced here and they were quick and didn't take advantage of me trying to do extra services. Experience with sales is another story. Long story short- CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE IS AWFUL. Full story below.
Tonight my mom and I went in, cash in hand. First off, it took at least 15-20 minutes before we even got approached by a salesperson. (Unheard of!) We finally get approached by Raven. I tell him we're mainly looking at Rav4s but I also want to show her the different scions since I drive a scion xB and she likes mine. He says "oh well I can't sell scions" and I say ok, well we just want to look at it but we'll want to test drive a Rav4. So we walk towards the scions and he's clearly annoyed. We get all the way there and they don't have any of the models except sporty and the xB (that I drive). So that was pointless. He's being extremely short with us, clearly irritated he's wasting his time since he hasn't worked there long enough to sell Scions. (They must work there 6mos at least.) So we walk towards the Rav4s and I ask when the interior style changed because I had previously seen a 2012 that looked very different than the new one I was looking at. He did not sound educated on the product and tried giving me information beating around the question. So I reword the question to explain further. He's not getting it so my mom asks if he knows the answer. He gets defensive and snaps that he'll get someone else. So when he does, the salespeople (all standing around bored) go "why, what happened?" And his response was "The mom.. The mom has an attitude against me". And that's when I snap in and tell the group, "actually, he did not know the information when I asked a simple question. And to be frank, you've been quite an ass to us the whole time. Is there somebody that'd be willing to answer some simple questions about the Rav4?" He begins to raise his voice at me so my mom goes in to speak to a manager. He starts saying "I'm not going to give respect unless I get it from you." At this point I find it pretty comical that I am now engaged with a salesperson yelling at me and trying to make me look stupid when I knew enough to know his answers were all BS. The other 3 or 4 salespeople are quiet and none offer to go take us to look at a Rav4 and answer any questions. One makes a joke and offers me a water from his pocket. At this point, I'm over it. Raven is still raising his voice at me. My mom comes out from the manager, who was no better. She told him the situation and his only response was "no, we haven't hit our quota" when she asked. Other than that, he remained silent. My mom used to sell RVs and houses, and I have a background in customer service... It is extremely important to us. Even when you don't think it's a serious buyer, or you don't like their personality, you still give them your best customer service. We came in tonight in a great mood, ready to buy. (We even showed them the $20k cash in my mom's purse!) apparently this place doesn't care about taking car of potential customers; I wouldn't trust buying from them. We will not be back. I'll drive to the other side of town to get my scion serviced from now on.
