  • I took a sunrise hot air balloon ride today as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. It was absolutely phenomenal!! Take it from someone who has a serious fear of heights and is even anxious with flying... seriously, I had anxiety leading up to it but wanted to challenge myself and do something memorable for this milestone bday. I'm glad I didn't chicken out. The ride was not scary at all!! I was so anxious about it I watched several YouTube videos to know what to expect and also read reviews on each of the local companies. I chose Arizona balloons SOLELY because of the great reviews about Taylor. I loved his sense of humor just like the other reviewer's comments mentioned. His jokes made the ride that much more enjoyable and calming. He and his crew were very organized, skilled and you can tell he loves what he does! I love that he provided information about the scenery from in front of us, behind us and down below and even told us about his history as the balloonist. champagne toast at the end was great, too. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride so much so that I even planned (while still in the air) to go again with a friend. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend doing your ride with Arizona Balloons!! Thanks Taylor!!!
