Talk about a "dead" mall... there are literally less than 10 stores open. I remember not just 8 years ago, the entire mall was open with shops galore! Now, all there really is: Sears, half of Dillard's, a jewelry shop, Hot Topic and a few other smaller retail chains. Not even worth the visit, because 90% of the entire mall is just dead, closed vacant spaces. I would 't even bother with the 5 options the food court has. All the employees kind of just stand around bored out of their mind and are not at all friendly.
The entire place has just turned into a creepy dead space. Sears is really the only store that has a steady flow of customers. Otherwise, one would be better off going anywhere else that has more than a few stores and stores that are actually OPEN! Pretty sad for a Saturday when you want to go shopping but happen to choose the dead mall with nothing but vacant spaces & closed doors. Not sure what happened to this mall, but it isn't worth it whatsoever. The Mills is a few miles away, so it is kind of a no-brainer when it comes to where to shop in the Tempe/Mesa area.
