| - After having a bad experience at Jared's, I came here looking for an engagement ring. My experiences between the two stores could not have been more different, and Orr's was clearly on the right side of that divide.
The sales rep Janene really worked with me (who knows nothing about jewelry) to find the perfect stone/ring combo, and to not exceed my price range. Unlike Jared, I felt like she was receptive to my particular needs, patient, and wanted to take the time to get it right. There's a real personal touch at this place that for obvious reasons, you won't find at the corporate chains.
After settling all the paper work, I was told the ring would be ready in about a month. Around that time, Janene emailed me to say that the ring was in, but they were so dissatisfied with it, they didn't even want me to bother coming in. They instead had another made, and were sure to work within the timeline I'd set for the proposal. Again, very different from the lack of customer service at Jared.
When I finally picked it up, it was perfect. However, it did need to be resized. My fiancee took it in, and they had it resized for her within 24 hours.
Overall, a great experience. This is why you stay with the local folks who actually care, rather than the corporate joints where you're simply a number.
