I think the bubble waffle is the best one in Montreal. Taste-wise it's similar to others but as one other reviewer already said the texture is great. Nice, fluffy, airy bubbles and crispy thin parts in between. The only thing I didn't like were the sprinkles (but this is just a personal thing with me) because they are so hard it makes me think I'm cracking my teeth every time I bite into them but luckily there aren't a lot. It was $8.50 for a bubble waffle with two scoops of ice cream. A bit overpriced but still worth trying.
I also had a matcha latte but would want to try their other teas. It's one of the cheaper ones at $4 but for me it seems like they put way more milk than tea. I'd say too much milk and a bit sweeter than I prefer but otherwise it was fine and I still enjoyed it. On the other hand I tried the Matcha millefeuille cake in another visit which was barely sweet. You can taste the characteristic bitterness of the matcha, which I like actually. The texture of the thin layers is light and quite nice. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who likes their desserts very sweet though. I also had a Durian slush, which was really good but you'll always have that distinctive aftertaste in your mouth afterwards. The potted plant tiramisu is adorable and tastes nice with good texture.
I'm not a dessert person but I would return here when I'm in the mood or with someone who is a dessert person. It's a small place and not much seating, you actually have to order at the cash first before taking a seat. After you're finished then you go back to the cash to pay. The tables and seats are really close to each other so it can feel a bit cramped.
