  • This Publix has the coldest water fountain. I could be poetic about how perfect their water fountain is. Grocery shopping always works up a thirst, and I look forward to checking out and seeing the holy grail of water fountains at the end of my shopping experience. Publix is amazing anyway. I've been getting a free cookie in the bakery since I was a tot. (I grew up down in central FL where all the magic began.) I discovered that if you ask nicely, they still give you a free cookie at the age of 33. The employees are always stellar here too - each and every one. They seriously love their jobs. Kudos to them. It's hard to find people in the retail/food industry who smile genuinely. Keep up the awesome work Publix.
