| - I love the co-op. Generally speaking, for me grocery shopping falls in the same category as cutting my grass and doing my taxes: necessary but unpleasant. But going to the co-op is a different experience than most grocery stores. The co-op serves a broader purpose. I love several things about the EEFC: first the people that work there are friendly, diverse, and caring. Second, the selection is curated to provide options that are more sustainable and nutritious. Third, and most important to me, the atmosphere is unlike more grocery stores; it's pace is a bit slower, it's definitely not a super market (but the selection is still diverse), and it's more relaxed. Fourth, they're cafe is great; I often take my daughter here for breakfast. The only caveat is price: you will generally spend more money here than Giant Eagle, TJs, or Aldi, but the quality and experience is superior.
