  • Gotta love the Diamond. It's the first place that my wife and I tried when we moved to Charlotte; our first taste of the south. And it was tasty. I remember ordering fried pickles for the first time, a cheerwine for the first time, along with fried chicken and fries. It was very satisfying. I've been back a few times since and it always hits the spot. It's a little greasy so I try not to make too many trips, but it's really good. It's open late, has a fun crowd and although it's small it doesn't feel that small. I really like the vibe in here. It has a character of its own and I like it a lot. If you're in Charlotte, you've gotta try it!
