If I could give half stars I would but since I can't I rounded up. I had the pleasure of staying here on two different occasions in one week.
The first stay I was in town for an admissions test that I had to take for nursing school. I was all alone and the room was perfect for last minute cramming. The room was nice, modern but comfortable. The king size bed was comfortable and the shades kept it really dark even when the Arizona sun was out and blazing bright and early in the AM. The guy working the front desk was friendly and even gave me a free oral hygiene kit (usually $5.00)when I had asked for toothpaste cuz I had forgot mine at home. The only problem I had from my first stay is that my room fronted Washington St. which is really busy and loud in the morning. I was woken up by the noise bright and early 20 minutes before my alarm:/ The location of this hotel is awesome. Close to the airport, and in good proximity to the freeways.
Three days later we stayed again because we were in town catching a D-Backs game. This time we got a room with two queens and it was not fronting Washington Street. This room again was comfy and clean. The difference in noise level was night and day. We all slept like babies. The hubby mentioned that the water pressure could be better but what do you expect from a hotel?
We will stay here again. We would highly recommend this hotel for any out of towners needing to catch an early flight out of PHX since it is soooo close. I'm pretty sure they even offer an airport shuttle. Overall a great little place to stay!
