  • My brother was visiting phoenix and I decided to have a bachelor party day for him while out here. We planned on starting the day with hydroflight at pleasant harbor boat rental (boats4rent). We spent all morning getting our things together and took the hour and a half trip up to the lake. We had a reservation at noon and at 1pm. When we arrived they informed us that we would not be hydroflighting today because there was too much debris in the water. The first person I spoke with said "oh....no one called you?" No, no one called me. Yet there were 5 employees standing out back behind their building on the dock doing nothing. Not one of them could take the time or figure out how to use the phone to let us know not to waste our morning and 3 hours of drive time. The manager refunded my money and then gave me 1 free 15 minute flight voucher for his apology. I asked if they would refund my money for the entrance into the park, and they said no that they are not affiliated with them. Yet you have to pay the park to get to their facility. And a free 15 minute flight.....that's like tipping your waitress $1. Its a slap in the face, keep your dollar and learn to use a phone.
