I decided to try this establishment out on a recommendation from the ChowBella blog for one of the top places to go on a date. My husband and I tried the sampler platter, moonshine (how could you not), and the potato brisket as an appetizer. Everything was ok. But honestly, we've had better BBQ. It seems to me that Bootleggers is trying hard to make BBQ hip (kind of like Country Music).
The interior was very modern and as was the music playlist. But overall...I was left unimpressed with the food and the atmosphere. The service was excellent though :)
